I am generating a specification document for a product that will utilize components of an automotive air conditioning system.

I have found specifications online of the compressor that I am planning to use, but as far as finding any kind of ballpark specifications on evaporators and condensers, I am lost. Numbers that I am looking for include (ballpark estimates of) flow rates through the condenser, entering refrigerant temp, pressure drop across the devices, heat dissipated to the air (btu/hr), etc. As you can probably tell, I am totally unfamiliar with these systems.

So is there anyone out there who can possibly tell me what kind of specifications are important to the operation of automotive ac condensers and evaporators, and possibly provide specs? I am looking at a small (think Geo Metro small) AC system.

Thanks

If it's a closed system than the flow through the evaporator, condenser and compressor sort of all have to be the same.

None of your other questions can be answered without knowing something about what you're trying to do.
