Hi!!!
ASTM B 705 and ASME SB705 are std's for welded pipe without filler metal.I can't find other ASTM std for welded Pipe UNS 08825 (Alloy 825) and listed in ASME B.31.3 (Which is the contractual Piping Design Code).
For the size and thickness i need, all vendor wrote me that they can supply the pipes only with filler metal (Alloy625 Thermanid 625 - Thyssen). What should i do to establish the Allowable stress values or to be sure i can use the same listed in ASME B.31.3 for ASTM B 705 UNS08825.
Considering that the material will not work in creep condition, is it sufficient an Hot Tensile Test at maximum design Temperature? and from a formal point of view? Do i need a third party to certify my assumption?
Tahnks in Advance
