I have a template product that I adjust depending on different requirements, many parts are made using this template. I can not save any of these similar parts because it tends to over right parts in the template OR keep associativity with them.

My question is there a method that can get me another separate exact copy of the template without keeping any sort of associativity or over righting any files?

Thank you,

Jeff

Thank you, funny how the obvious is sometimes the hardest to see...

Alternatively, can we also use propogate directory and save it at a different location? Will it still maintain any link?

CATIN - it will maintain you links, be cautious of the options set in Options - General - Document -- Linked Document Localization. File/New from the file/assembly, save to the new directory.

Regards,
Derek
