My question is how to associate two surface (like in Patran) along its common edge, in order to along this edge, common nodes will be generated, so after generate the mesh, "equivalence" (merge) the nodes duplicated at the same location (like in Patran) getting a node common to both surfaces, this operation in femap is check coincident nodes, but how to associate the surfaces in femap?.

Dear Naeng,
This is very easy in FEMAP: simply use "Geometry > Surface > Nonmanifold Add" and select the two surfaces, then a new "Solid BodyAdd" will be created, with only one-curve between the two surfaces, then the mesh continuity will be satisfaced, no need to issue any merging command .. enjoy!.

Best regards,
Blas.
