Assign partial UDL on beam

Is it possible to assin patrial UDL on beam i ETABS ? Say that I have a 8m beam, i only want to apply partial UDL from 3m to 5m , UDL = 5kN/m only, I dont want beam to subject to full UDL from 0m to 8m. I tried to assign it as trapezoidal load from 3m to 5m , but there's till load varying from 0kN/m to 5kN/m from 0m to 3m ... That's weird.

Use the menu command: Assign - Frame Loads - Distributed

This brings up the following form which allows you to specify where the distributed load starts and stops and its magnitudes. Is there anything about this form that you need help / clarification on?
