I am attempting to determine the displacment (volume) of an assembly model- basically a capsule/cylinder (just to simplify it)- I have attempted to create a shrinkwrap(merged solid) of the assembly- but loose (at least appear to) some components and I belive this is resulting in the analysis reading theinternal surfaces rather than just the external surfaces- which is what I require. so- to reiterate and simplify- I need to find the displacment/volume of this assembly model- external surfaces only. any help? THANX

In wildfire 2.0, you can use Analsis -> model analysis -> Assembly mass properties.

The first line in the results is the volume.
