Assembly Item Numbers DonÆt Appear In The Bill Of Material 1

Using Catia V5R19;

Why don’t item numbers appear next to assemblies in the “Bill Of Material” table, but they do appear with an item number in the “Recapitulation” Table?

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

In the assembly design work bench did you Generate Numbering?
then
When you analyze Bill of Material you need to push the Number property from the Hidden properties column to the Displayed properties.

Note: On the Product tab of a Catpart or CATproduct there is a check box Visualize in BOM. turn off or on. If you turn off the product then all the parts under the product will not appear in the Bom

Yes, I did all of that over & over, & still, the bill of material only accounts for parts & not assemblies.
