I was wondering if anyone has created a maco that will assign a unique part color to each part in an assembly. Ideally I would like it to traverse down in the order of the parts in the assembly with ROYGBIV as the first colors and then going from there with darker or lighter hues. Has anyone created a similar code before I try to go off and do it myself? Thanks.

Nope psychedelic contact lenses. The differences are so slight (~0.020mm) that it is difficult to tell the designs apart. I find myself coloring these individually for each design in a study and I hate repetitive tasks. Thanks for the help.

A Random Color macro was available some time ago, but I can't find a working download source. If someone here has a copy they can link, you may be able to modify it to suit.

check out the Autocolor macro here:
it may do what you need. For some reason I remember the macro CBL talking about as coming from FCSuper... but I could be totally wrong. I went to his site and didn't see it up there.
