Asphaltene in Kero Merox

Has anyone of you experienced having asphaltene like substance in the wash water drum of the kero merox unit. If yes, how were you able to solve the problem? What were your findings?

No and it is unlikely for asphaltenes to go all the way up in kero. Try in case you have not done this - ensure if your charcoal bed is not the source of this ( poor quality of charcoal, improper filteration etc).
