I'm new to using ASPEN PLus and am looking for a few reference books/webpage/journals/anything that might be able to help me out. Thanks everyone!

MHodges,

Depending on your level of experience. Aspen will provide customers of the software with some Computer based training Suite of 4 volumes (for free).

I found the CBT training quite usefull. Also on there web site for register customers you can access and down load usage presentations etc.

There's no real substitute to taking their training courses (there are several). Then, I would suggest working with a colleague who already knows the software and learn the details by example. This stuff requires many months of intensive practice before you are proficient. Also, you need to be fresh with your academic training as a chemical engineer.

Hi MHodges

a good way is this book

Seider, Seader y Lewin. Product and Process Design Principles. J Wiley. 2004

with a CD with tutorials of hysys ans aspen plus

contact me for that or for training material of aspentech
