ASME X vs BS 13121 or AD-MERKBLATT

Hello

we produce GRP pressure vessel tanks. Up to now, we have always used either AD-MERKBLAT or BRISTISH standard codes for thickness calculations. The results are very similar.
In ASME, on the other hand, the thickness required seems to be too high compared to other standards (maybe we are doing something wrong but the formula are quite simple). Our vessels life is about 25 years so the calculations should be ok.
On the other hand, one thing that is different in ASME from other codes is that while others use tensile strentgth values, ASME uses Young's modulus value.
Does anyone have any experience in this in GRP?

Thanks to any answer
