well fi anyone up and working : we have a vessel built to ASME VIII fabricated in 1972 , MAWP 900psi @ 265 F , tested to 1429 psi, inspected and signed off by AI group in 1972. , undergone two API 510 inspections most recent last year all components per original drawings and materials , no alterations. Currently out of service , I see no issue with using the vessel as long as all parameters are within original design limits. I would like to find a reference to this subject if possible , I found a note on one states boiler board stating that any vessel that was certified under prior code edition and has not undergone a alternation and has recent inspection is acceptable to operate at the original design limits . I noted soem text in NBIC section 3 which I think back -up my point.

ird192,

What reference are you looking for? There is no change in the design conditions, there is no alteration. You have have done API 510 recently and there is no de-rating.
Is there any or will there be any change in the process/service? Otherwise, the vessel is acceptable for the original design conditions.
