Question 1. If I had an ASME Sec VIII div 1 vessel with two nozzles, one at each end, and a small (<1") copper tube that connected between the two nozzles externally, would that interconnecting tubing be considered in scope?

Question 2. Given the same arrangement as question 1, now with a tee in the copper tube that then connected to a separate pressure vessel. Would the boundary end at the nozzle connections, or at the tee connection?

Thanks

For both questions, the ASME boundary is to be ended at the BPVC nozzles. The external piping or tubing should be designed per other Code, such as B31.3, etc.
