Received Boiler proper(Pipe Spools)supplied by a CODE manufacture C/W P4 material supplied as PARTS. ASME Section 1 PG-106.8.1 Marking of Parts lists four items that have to be stamped on the part see listed below. The piping received is under 5" OD (3" OD) so PG-106.8.2 applies are the four items listed below still mandatory or is the part serial # only traceable to the P4 acceptable.

(a) Certification Mark above the word "part"
(b) certified by (name of Manufacturer)
(c) Manufacturer's serial number of the part
(d) year built

P-4 is signed by an AI, items should be stamped with the proper mfr, s.n. yr. Mfr. ASME Mark and designator. AI is witness of all the above. Your parts may be rejected buy the final assembly AI, ask him or her.
