ASME NOG-1 Seismic Analysis

Does anyone have experience tweaking RISA to do an ASME NOG-1 Dynamic Seismic Analysis on a bridge crane?

I am certainly not familiar with those provisions. Is it based on a response spectra analysis, by any chance? That would be my guess.

Response spectra is one of the options for analysis. However what seems beyond the reach of RISA is modeling the wheels sliding on the rail and the vertical acceleration of the hanging load.

I'm sorry, I'm just not familiar with the criteria to answer specific questions. So, I can only respond in generalities.

In general, if they're asking for a response spectra analysis then the support conditions have to linear. Hence, RISA should be able to do it.
