Hello,

I need to know the ASME standard for design / construction of SG Iron globe valves. I believe ASME B16.34 standard is applicable to steel, nickel-base alloys, and other alloys only.
Kindly advise.

Thanks in advance.

There may not be an ASME standard, MSS SP-85 may be the closest you will get, and this is geared to plain gray iron I believe. I would guess that SP-85 likely points you to ASME B16.1 for ratings, flange dimensions, and minimum wall thickness requirements.
