What is the definition of ASME capacity for a given PSV ?

The "ASME capacity" is the rated capacity of the PSV. That is calculated by using the ASME orifice size and ASME coefficient, with an inlet pressure equal to 110% of set pressure. Refer to the National Board "Red Book" to find the area and coefficient values for ASME certified valves.
