Hello,
I would like to ask for your help in understanding the requirements for a correct welded joint design according to ASME BPVC Section VIII, Division 2.
Specifically I would like to ask if the code states what should be minimum distance between the axis of a category D joint and the axis of a category B joint as per the attached drawing (where I named said dimension with "h").
Could the dimension "h", and even though I wouldn't make any friends with the drill-bit sharpening guy, be equal to 0 and the axis of the hole for the nozzle be centered on the category B joint?
