ASME B16.9 BW Fittings - Interpretation about the desing proof test

Metma started a thread years ago asking the validity of proof test certificate through different materials.
His last reply was he was going to ask ASME interpretation for para 9.4.3. of 16.5.

Anybody can give us an update on this.
