ASME B16.20 Ring Gaskets

ASME B16.20 covers SS Type 316 Ring Gaskets and indicates the hardness requirement as 160 HB max. Could the same requirement be specified for SS Type 316L Ring Gaskets
also ?

I don believe because the AISI 316 L It is low carbon.

Is THIS Right?.
