Hi,
After 3 and a half months, there is a person who can post a reply to this thread. Thanks.
I would like to know regarding STA (Static Timing Analysis) in detail. Where can I find information regarding this in the internet.
Thanks for your interest,
Anent

How did you look for it previously (what search engines)?

melone,
i used to search with google.com, i need some detailed explaination on this topic. if you can...
thanks,
anent

Hi Anent:
Evidently you are not an ASIC designer. What is your actual
problem ? it is possible that some other solution would be
cheaper or simpler ( e.g. a microcontroller -- i.e. doing it in software-- a PLD or FPGA etc.

The more detail you can give, the more useful advices you
may get.

Static timing analysis is usually a part of any logic simulator and is essentially a roll-up of individual gate delays, setup, hold times, etc. You use STA to determine critical paths and maximum operational frequencies.
