ASCE 7 - 10 and 05 both have the same pressure / force coefficients in tables 29.5-1, 29.5-2 for 7-10 and 6-21, 6-22 for 7-05.
However for the "Cross-Section" parameter defining round members the variable is D*(qz)^0.5.
In 7-10 qz will be larger (strength level) than in 7-05 (service level).
Should qz in 7-10 be reduced by 0.6 before applying the tables or do you use the tables with the 'strength level' qz then apply the appropriate factor at the end?
