I'll push it with two ASCE posts in a row, I know, these are boring...
I cannot find any direction in ASCE if you have a building with a corner > 90 degrees. I have a building with inside corners = 143 degrees, it is my understanding this would have less of an edge zone effect as the wind wraps around the corner.
I will stick with 2a for the MWFRS edge length, but could I interpolate between the factors for edge zone and interior wall zone factors?
90 degree= edge zone = 1e/4e
180 degree= interior zone/ flat wall = 1/4
143 degree > interpolate for GCp
Seems reasonable to me, and I can always just use edge zone values to be conservative, but its a big building with large lateral loads...
Thanks in advance.
