ASB&ASB-R files

I've been given ASB & ASB-R diagram files for electrical panels and so on. I was told that these were made in microstation. I've tried opening them in Microstation and AutoCaD LT with no such luck. Anyone come across this before?

First, what version of Microstation are you using. V8 will open any file. if you are in J or SE you will have to import the file.
Let me know what works for you.
