AS400 and trying to autoincremenet the table

I am trying to figure out how to auto increment a column that i basically make an ID that is an integer when a new record is inserted

In Oracle I know you "Create Sequence ....". I tried that in the AS400 but I guess that is only a Oracle command and not standard SQL. Is there something like this on the as400 table?
