Apologies if this sounds a bit elementary, but its something i still don't fully understand:
What dictates the AS1210 construction class of a vessel?

Say as an example,
Have a vessel fabricated in 1955 under ASME. Need to replace a DN50 nozzle on the vessel and wish to carry out repair to latest revision of AS1210.
How do i know what construction code to apply? Does the construction code correlate with AS4343 hazard level in any way?
I see table 1.7A, however it doesn't lay out specific criteria pertaining to which class to select.
