Just a quick one; there is a little bit of debate in my office and I was wondering about everyone’s interpretation?
What would you take for the column action under a fire condition? Should it be G+0.4Q as the load from the floor is a UDL (theoretical floor) or is it G+0.6Q as the load action in the column is concentrated?

Cheers!

I'd personally take 0.4Q, because column load derives from a floor UDL. Concentrated load in this context means a concentrated load on the floor/beam etc, not the axial load calculated in the column itself.
