Hello,

My company purchased license of the ARX Module for WF 2.0. I have no problem using the advanced rendering capabilities on my computer but when another associate wants to use the advanced rendering (Photolux) on their computer the can not use this capability only the standard (Photorender). Can anyone tell my why I can only use the Photolux package on my computer? To add some more information, our WF 2.0 is a floating license on a network.

Looking for some insight to this problem.

Thanks,

You have to configure the license using "ptcsetup" provided by PTC.

After starting "ptcsetup",

Click "next" twice.
On this page click "additional license configurations" check box.
Click "next".
Click on the entry in "license type".
Click on "Edit"
Make sure "Advanced_Render" is in the category box "Startup Extensions and Floating Licenses"

Run ptcsetup.bat (located in your {pro e install folder}/bin) on your coworkers computer. When you get to this part, select the "Additional license configurations" box and select Next.

Next highlight the license and hit the Edit button.

Ensure they have the ARX license is in the "startup extensions &floating licenses" box.

Hit OK and complete the setup.

Thanks, James

This is what we need to do. My associate is now able to use the advance rendering.
