Area of indent and the pile-up.

Hello All:

I am curious to know if we can calculate the area of indent (area of cavity) formed by the indenter, on the specimen. Similarly, how can we find the area of the pile-up (material collected as a result of the indentation) from Abaqus/Explicit odb file. I have the data generated for EVOL from field output manager.
