Are DowAKSA USA a major carbon manufacturer in the US?

With my background/experience in FRP use restricted to structural strengthening applications to buildings and bridges, I have not had direct contact with DowAKSA. Are they a major 'force' in carbon manufacture in the US markets?

I do not think they are a major force yet. Large producers are Toray, Cytec, Hexcel and Zoltek. It looks like DowAksa has a production capacity of 3,500 tons per year. For comparison, Zoltek produces 4,000 tons per year and Toray 21,000 tons per year. On the revenue side, DowAksa has no published data, but Toray, Cytec, and Hexcel have > $1 billion dollars and Zoltek is around $140 million.
