I wish to apply an image Jpeg of company logo to curved surface for visualisation purposes. This would be like a printed feature.
I tried looking at Bump or Texture. This applied image to whole surface in a repeated pattern. And I could only find this in material table.
I would only like image in a localized area.

Thanks in advance.

One idea is to create a little cutout (or extrusion) over your surface and then applying the texture to this face only. Make sure that the units are set to "world" in the modify faces style, texture menu.

Hope it helps

Hi Alan,
It appears that the options for applying a texture to a face only let you stretch or tile the image to fit the surface, whether or not you use the Surface or World setting
You may have to create a seperate, very thin, part of the size you require (ie make a label or decal) and apply the logo to that.
Have a look at thread562-212021
If your logo is surrounded by a coloured area that you don't want to show on the surface you can make that area transparent when you apply the texture.
If your logo is the correct size you should use the World scale settings, otherwise to stretch it to fit the surface use the Surface scale option.

Hope this helps.
