I am wondering if anyone has been able to apply a .TIF or .BMP (any format realy) to the surface of a model without using PhotoWorks?

MadMango,

I can insert a Tif. & .Bmp into my parts & assemblies, but I can't attach them to a surface. That is where Photoworks comes in and does it's job. At my last job we had Photoworks and it was a real cool program for this type of work.

You might check out he has some really neat programs that he wrote. I don't know if he as one for this or not but it's worth a try. If you find something that works other than Photoworks, post it here (free goood).

Hope that helps,
Cheers, Scott Baugh, CSWP :-)

Thanks for the link. It'll take me awhile to run through all of what is presented there. I used PhotoWorks at my last job too, and it was very nice. I guess I am trying to create a "decal" (if I remember the verbage correctly) except it is hard since I don't have PhotoWorks.

Thanks again.
