Apply boundary counditions

Hello,

I have a problem in my model in Ansys.I modeled an I beam using shell element and apply the boundary conditions at the line, it analyzed, but when I apply the boundary conditions in nodes instead of lines the program exits automatically. I dont know what is the problem. it should be no difference to apply the boundary conditions on line or on nodes, right?
I will appreciate if you help me to figure it out.

Sounds like a crash. You should submit a bug report to ANSYS.
