Is there any restriction in API 6A for use of casting materials for the valves?

Yes. Castings are not permitted for PSL4 for valve bodies, bonnets, and end and outlet connectors. For other PSLs, castings are permitted, but there are some casting-specified requirements. Many requirements are in API 6A 21st Edition 6.3.3.1, 6.4.2.3.1, 7.4.3, and 10.4.2.
