API 6A - Pressure-controlling parts

Hello,

According to API 6A, pressure-controlling parts are parts intended to control or regulate the movement of pressurized fluids.

For a ball valve, what should be these pressure-controlling parts ?

- the ball
- the seat
- the insert
- o-rings
- ...

In addition, and depending on the body style (top or side entry) the body joint seals, plus the bonnet and stem seal systems must also be considered pressure boundary components.
