Dear all,

i would ask you some informations about the Annex F of API 6A design validation of valves. In particular for Api 6A PR1 is required an "Objective Evidence" of some test at different temperature and/or pressure. Which is the meaning of objective evidence? Which document should i collect to be in compliance with API 6A? do you have some example?

Thank you

Dear mil87,

You can check on API 6A (20th edition) clause 3.1.75 for the definition of objective evidence:

"documented field experience, test data, publications, finite element analysis, or calculations that confirm performance characteristics, as applicable."

I believe its clear enough to explain what documents needed for 'objective evidence'.

regards,

Yudhi
