API 6A Ball Valve - Bore Requirement

Have a quick question, did the search here to find answers before posting this new thread but didn't find one though... hard luck..

In my current project there is a requirement for 6" (API Equivalent 5 1/8") API 10000 rated ball valves, valve design standard considered is API 6A.

I would like to know if the standard API 6A allows the use of reduced bore design (i.e, 5 1/8" x 4 1/16") as there is no requirement of full bore ball design as per project.

For 10K no. For other pressure ratings yes. See Tables 67-72, as well as Table 4 for tolerances.
