Has anyone heard via the "grapevine" as to when this edition is going to be released. I'm presently working on a new storage tank specification that references API 650 and since there are so many changes including "bulleted" paragraphs in the May 2007 Proof 2, I don't want to draw-up and issue a specification referencing Addendum 4 to the 10th edition if the 11th edition issue is immenient (ie: next few months).

In April of 2003, I was informed that the 3rd Addendum would come out in about 3 months and the 11th Edition at the end of 2004. Addendum 3 was 6+ months, and the 11th Edition is still out there. Meaning, forecasts of when things are going to be done aren't necessarily too reliable. I'd just forge ahead with Addendum 4 and revise as necessary later.

We have just been advised that the new 11th edition will be available the last week in June of this year. Normally, that would mean that it becomes mandatory the last week in December this year.

LeonEarle,
API has frequency claimed "the last week of this month". I'll believe it when I see it.

11th Edition is now showing on the website for downloading.

Mine arrived today. Thick as a brick!

I did notice that a fair bit of it is a summary of interpretations for the last several years, makes it seem a bit thicker than it otherwise might.
