API 650 acceptance of S275 JR plate

Dear All,
I saw this post below in May 2014..

"In Section 4.2 of API 650 it only permits the use of J0 and J2 plates for the grades 275 and 355 but does not mention anything about using the more common JR. Can someone please explain why this is?"

Is there any revision in API 650 to indicate acceptance of S275 JR.

In API 650 12th Ed. 2016 Add. 2, i did not see any changes to the above.

Appreciate some clarification on this.

 
I see that listed for structural but not for plate. Why, I don't know. Maybe because they objected to it for some reason, maybe simply a lack of demand to include it.
