API 650 2008 Addendum Frangible roofs question

Does anyone know what the definition of W is in 5.10.2.6 5)?

I don't see W listed anywhere in App F as noted.

I was recently confused by this as well. W in appendix F was replaced by Dls, therefore Dls should be used in 5.10.2.6. This is indicated in section 4.2 of Appendix D.

Good one. This is another screw up in the standard. Xema77 is correct. W is suppose to be DLS. I compared 11th edition with the 11th edition addendum 1 to figure this out. DLS is the weight defined in Apendix F.4.2.

Pardon me for venting, but I'm really tired of those guys doing shoddy editorial work in the API650 club. If I don't try to program the formulas in MathCAD, I would not have picked up on the mistakes in that standard. It is so frustrating in the last 3 years with so much new additions and revision in what was a good and easy standard. Had to vent.

What is the e-mail address we should use to send API notice of errors when we users find in the standard or ask clarification questions? Thanks. Looks like some of the errors I had problems with has been resolved in addendum 1. But from this post, it seems like a new one has been added.
