API 610

hello,

API 610 10th edition, requires gussets for auxiliary piping.
Welding qualification and performance qualification are required, dimensions for gussets are defined, but nothing for the type of welds,design of welds, the rules for crossing, or proximity of welds.
Do you think that we have to applied ASME VIII rules,and if yes what § we have to applied.

Was this API 610 not for refinery process centrifugal pumps ??

This asme standard up-graded to edition 11th?
Now an ISO standard.

To my knowledge auxiliary piping shall be designed, fabricated and tested for at least ASME B31.3

I would keep distance between adjacent welds > 50 mm

Digister for biogas,

Is it allowed to use a vertical storage tank built under API 650 (or BS 2654) as a digister with an overpressure
of .35 PSi at 120 F.
