Have a look in the Plant Data Books. Any relevant certificates should be with the equipment dossiers!!

Whoops, may have mis-interpreted your query!!

If you just want a certificate "google" on the internet there are plenty of bogus companies out there who will sell you any certificate you want (BSc, MBA, PhD etc etc etc). There are people out there who have these. Having a certificate does not mean you will be able to do the job without the necessary Training/experience.

DSB123: Why are you being so narrow minded?

Did you not look at the question carefully?

"i am looking for api certicate to be professional in machinery"

Those who buy certificates from internet don't aim to be professionals in their fields.

May be OP wants to know if there is any API certification for rotating equipment? and If there is any, what is the certification path?

Offcourse people have to start from somewhere. Usually good experts never forget their starting point...!

I thought DSB123 was very fair with his reply and addressed the OP's desire to be a professional, by pointing out that a certificate is not a substitute for training and experience. Seems like solid advice to me.

How was the OP's desire to be professional addressed in the above reply?

And exactly where does the OP mention the idea to 'buy' the certificate to become professional?

Or how do you get the impression that the OP wants to avoid the path of training and experience?

tharwathaggag is looking for advice and he got some. I do not think the motive of the OP is in question. To be frank, I don’t too read much into the OP except the individual is in Egypt and wants to have a principal role with machinery built to API standards. IMO obtaining certificates should not be the highest priority in professional development, obtaining a position that can offer the opportunities to grow is, i.e. one that facilitates training and experience.

RCHandy,
Many thanks for the back up. I don't think I was maligning anybody with my answer. I know there are "engineers" with certificates "purchased/copied/forged" out there and all I was pointing out as you say it's far better to develop oneself via good education and training.

QwaisGillani,
Appologies if I hit a "raw nerve".

Thank u all for ur reply,

I want to clearify that I had a mechanical BSc in mechanical Engineering, & I had experiance in machenary, but I want to be certified in machenary throw the API standard.

A listing of available API cerifications is here:

API610 is not one of them. API does have an area in the above link that allows to submit your query to them. Please advise of their response.
