Dear experts,
As i can check chemical and mechanical properties of SA-516 Gr 70 in ASME Sec II part A so tell me if I have a material API 5L Grade 65, Which standard will contain its Mechanical & Chemical properties?

I am not sure what you are asking, but I believe the answer you are looking for is API SPEC 5L.

BTW, part of my confusion comes from your referring to API 5L Grade 65, which is not an API designation. Perhaps you mean API 5L X65?

It also goes under the designation L450X, where X means different things depending on the letter used.

Also there are two grades of pipe, PSL1 and PSL2, they have different material properties, composition limits and specifications so make sure you know which one you're using.

The latest edition is the 45th (active from July 2013). Earlier versions, especially 43rd and before, had different composition limits so make sure you're using the most up to date version.
