I'm working with a builder who wants to substitute the typical, never before questioned, performance rated shearwall sheathing with APA 303 plywood. From what I have been able to tell, Form E30 from APA says it qualifies for PS-1 (2007), but its a one-liner and I have found nothing that specifically states that it qualifies as Performance Rated Sheathing... let alone Structural I grade. Can anyone clarify this for me, and maybe point to a document? The Help Desk has not been helpful.
I want to know what the APA 303 is, what its for?
Thank you.

Come on folks.....

Its siding. Similar to T111 I believe. It should be marked as Rated Siding. I assume you have done your google diligence? Next thing I might do is reach out to product MFG to try to figure out where it fits into NDS table 4.3A.

There is a row of that table called plywood siding. Perhaps that is the best place to start....
