I have been looking to adopt one of the following Structural Analysis & Design software but can't seem to find their pricing. The company I work for deals with Buildings, Bridges and Highway structures.

RAM Structural System
RM Bridge
RISA/RISA3D

I understand Bentley has a Professional Passport subscription for Structural Engineers that includes RAM, but I can't get them to reply to inquiries.

Does anyone know the purchase or subscription prices for above applications? Extra comments on your experience using them will be appreciated.

I've been using RM Bridge for about 9 months. RM is a collection of software modules that have to be purchased a la carte. The modules vary in price based on their usefulness. The best way to estimate the cost would be to contact Bentley and tell them how you plan to use it. They will help you determine what modules are needed and provide a quote on that group of modules. There are also maintenance fees on each module.

I suggest you pay for the training when Bentley offers it. The user manuals are not great - they are translations of the original German documents. However the customer support has been prompt and helpful. I did not get the training (not my choice), and it took some time and a lot of customer support to get up and running. The program incorporates a variety of design codes, but the AASHTO portions seem to have been added as an afterthought. I have not attempted to use it to perform code checks - I've just been using it to perform PT analysis. I can't really speak for all of its capabilities. I only figured out how to run the particular type of structure I was working on.

Risa is around $2500-$3000 for just 3D. They also offer bundles that include some of their other products (floor, footing, connection etc) for an additional price. If you email them they will send you a price list.
