Wanted to verify a thickness from one of the pavement design charts for a preliminary (ballpark) cost estimate. Can't seem to track down our copy of the book.

24 kip load for H15 truck with CBR of 10.

Looking for the coarse aggregate thickness. Should be able to read it right off of Figures 14.13 or 14.15.

Here's the reference info: E.J. Yoder, Principles of Pavement Design, John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 1959.

Alternatively, let me know if anyone has seen the charts online somewhere. Thanks,

k

civbiz - sorry, I have the book, but I'm on vacation until mid-October and can't get to it; nor can anyone else. You might check out Tensar's web site - they have a free downloadable pavement design programme where you input some data and it tells you the thickness of granular needed.[cheers]

What's your fax number? I can scan it, but don't have a scanner at the office or I can fax it.
