I have some experience on ACAD14 customization using Autolisp. Now I need to customize Mechanical Desktop to make the 3D parts/blocks insertion automatically----I mean what I have is a 2D dwg drawing of a PCB vs lots of footprint of components, and I have the correspondig 3D library for the components, now what I need to do is writing a program to insert the 3D components onto the PCB , transferring the 2D dwg to a 3D part assembly. Am I understood?
