Does anyone do renderings in Creo 2.0?
Specifically, transparent parts?

My recent experience has been that Creo 2.0 does a rather poor job rendering transparent appearances. Much worse than Wildfire. Like really, really bad. Anyone?

I made a video rendering of a wine glass. Creo 2 Tutorial - Rendering a Wine Glass - YouTube

I broke down how each settings effect the rendering. Each material has a specific algorithm. It is not really a true realistic rendering technique.

I only did some test, Creo uses Mental Ray rendering engine and if set up properly results are extremely good. I'd rather invest in a specific tool like Keyshot if I was going to do lots of rendering though

I did some tests too. There are still quite a few missing functions.
