Yes, in fact i did, i was an entrant in the ANU Team, we had quite a few electrical faults that caused us not to finish and dynamic events, there were some very well sorted and designed cars there, it was really quite amazing to look at some of these cars.. for you guys in the US, watch out in the detroit competition, because i think after a few more months testing and refining their skills and presentations, they will be truly hard to beat...

I was lucky enough to attend FSAE-A as Team Leader for Design Judges. Having been a design judge in Detroit and at Formula Student UK, the Australian event turned out to be a real eye opener. Whilst the event was still won by a US team the quality of the top cars was outstanding. Certainly of a standard to compete on the world stage. Obviously not on the scale of the US but reliability within the dymanic events was very high. The winning enduro car lapping one second a lap quicker than anyone else. As one of the Australian prizes was $5000 to the winning Australian team to compete in Detroit along with last year's winner Woolongong should make this year's Detroit very interesting.
