I have an assignment due in mathcad and i have exhausted every reference source i can find and followed countless examples but i getting the same error, the 'f' in the motecarlo function is red and wont work and i cannot for the life of me figure out what i've done wrong.

i've tried renaming the original function but no difference and tried with and without units, also tried rearranging the original equation with numbers and still no joy.

any help at all would be appreciated.

You apparently didn't bother looking at the example in the help files. The function can only be of a single variable, which can be a vector. Also, this is a function that's never been converted to deal with units, so units must be removed.

Thank you so much for this, it may have been obvious to you but it was beginning to get me down, now I can see it why it needed to be f(x)

In the interim I too found that mathcad needs x0 x1 rather than the R,h

I am really appreciative of your time and for sharing your knowledge, so once again thank you 😊
